Oakland's Abortion Clinic 8 foot zone

If, as the abortion proponents say, there is "extreme harrassment and intimidation" happening, why is there a buffer zone needed?  There are laws against harrassment, which should be triggered against those who are doing the harrassing. 

 

To the objective onlooker, this isn't about any harrassment or intimidation; it's about limiting free speech and protecting their business of killing babies.

A quarter to l/2 inch foetus is not a "baby" as you claim.  But if you really want to protect babies perhaps you should concentrate on all those babies being born to teenagers and those who are children themselves in Alameda County.  And there is a waiting list of hundreds of children in this county who need to be either fostered (a very poor alternative) or adopted into good two parent homes of which there are very few.

So, Oakpundit, are you going to answer the question put forward in the original post?  Why should we need a buffer zone if harassment could be charged and prosecuted? 

 

BTW, it was you using Latin, not me.  For the record, I am neither a Catholic nor a religionist.  It doesn't take a Bible study to believe a human being's personhood begins at conception, and so does his right to life.

Wow!  You could have stopped at "NO" and I'd have more respect for you than after qualifying your reasoning.  I rather doubt many serious-minded people take you seriously.  There isn't hardly an intelligent word that you wrote. 

 

These restictions are not time, place and manner restrictions.  If they were, the pro-aborts would be restricted equally by them.

 

If ku klux klan, white supremicists and us who care about preborn babies (aka, fetus), who btw are much larger than 1/4 - 1/2" long (as if this makes a difference) are "harassing" anyone anyplace anytime should be arested for harassment.  There's no need for any other restriction.  THAT'S THE POINT OF MY ORIGINAL POST.
