I am dead set against paying any increased taxes into this slush fund. Based upon documented experiences, I know that the Oakland Landscape & Lighting Assessment District’s (LLAD’s) budget is improperly used by at least CEDA and PWA (Public Works Agency) to cover-up/compensate for the malaise that infects our city’s poorly motivated and incompetent personnel.

Getting a committed elected City Government, City Administrator, and permanent CEDA Director to clean house has got to be a pre-condition before we vote any further funds for this district.
