From the article... "We felt like our kids were treated as suspects," Fobbs said. She was upset that her child was questioned by police without her consent and was not able to speak to him until several hours after the crime. Oh so what, were the cops supposed to make an appointments to talk with parents while the killer still runs free ?If your kids were there, they are all potential witnesses & if they remotely even look like they might have been involved then they are suspects.Deal with it.1st off, why can't the cops ask questions. The parents weren't there, what do they know. Cops are indifferent, it probably was unnerving being questioned by cops, but who said they were supposed to sit down to have milk & cookies with your kids. Someone was killed, there is no time for BS. This is the problem with people in the area. They expect the cops to solve the problem, yet they don't want cops coming around asking questions. This doesn't help the situation. Decoto is notorious for this type of stupid mindset."Why are the cops questioning & photographing our kids?"Hmmm, maybe they might be [bleep]s, despite what you think. Of course every parent thinks they're kid is innocent & an angel.Get your heads out of your behinds, it's getting bad out there, YOUNG kids are dying & it's totally senseless. It all starts at home & parents need to be held accountable. Heres an experiment for all your parents, go on Myspace & type in "Decoto".See what sort of innocent kids you get.Yeah, your neighbors kid doesn't look so innocent now does he? Heartfelt condolences go out to the young boys family. This is a tragic event & I hope the killer is caught.
